02/01/2009 - FCCL AND MIDWEEK AGM UPDATE

The AGM's for the SCECC Saturday side, playing the Morrant Four Counties Cricket League, and the Wednesday side, contesting the MKDCA Midweek League, have been attended in the past couple of months as the club predictably confirm their participation in both competitions in 2009.

SATURDAYS - FCCL DIVISION TWO

Promotion to the FCCL Division Two for Stuart Hardwick's men, narrowly missing out on the Division 3 championship and only being ousted by Caddington with just 11 points difference, will certainly see some more consistent competition.

And with new skipper Richard Fletcher taking up the reigns, the games will take some interesting turns against a different set of sides:
Olney Town, Milton Keynes, Biddenham, Edlesborough, Studham, Soulbury, Stewkley, Aston Clinton, Caddington
...are the teams Shenley will encounter in the 2009 campaign.

There was very little in the way of changes regarding the FCCL this season, only a minor change in fines and the confirmation of our Division 2 status.
